Game Focus: Endless Runners

The first in a series of who knows how many articles focusing on games for the iPhone and iPad.

Anyone that knows me (or has been following this blog) knows that I'm pretty gaga over my geeky toys. In particular my Apple stuff. With summer officially upon us I started thinking about some of the games I tend to waste my time with and decided to toss together a list (or several) of some of my favorite ones. Since it's a rather long list, I'm going to break it down into types. 

First up, the Endless Runner.

The best part of it being a holiday is that tons of apps, especially games, go on sale for crazy cheap prices. It's a great time to stock up on things for summer trips and the like.

Beware of Zombies on Demos

Okay so yeah, I went and looked. I mean it’s the freaking iPad. It’s made by Apple. I had to look. 

And promptly got sucked into a full ten minutes of Plants v Zombies. This game is seriously fun. It’s by my friends over at Popcap but I never bought it due to the slowness I call a computer. 

Now I have to sell my soul for a new computer or dive in on an iPad. 

Or as the geek devil on my shoulder says, do both. Way to enable. LOL

Got an ipad (or an iphone), get some Zombies.

Blitz Me

Like all good little geeks, I’m a sucker for a good time wasting game. So imagine my bliss when I stumbled onto the Popcap’s facebook based Bejeweled Blitz.

Trouble is that my computer is so slow that it locks up running Flash games. Bummer. 

And then the good people of Popcap had to go and release a version for the ipod touch/iphone. You naughty folks. Way to enable my geek shopping addiction.
