Lost: The Saturday Cartoon

Not content to appear in just the Sunday funnies, now Lost is a Saturday morning animation, appearing along side classics like Transformers, Care Bears and He Man.

Okay not really, but artist Michael Myers has created some very Saturday morning renditions of the characters. I would love to see them in some mashup style podcast or such.

Apple iPad unpacking by Lego Crew

It’s been called many names, not all of them nice, but Apple’s latest creation, the iPad is certainly getting noticed. Not just by dogs, cats and little old ladies but also by those guardians of fun, the venerable Lego minifigs.

Like all good little geeks, I’m a sucker for a good time wasting game. So imagine my bliss when I stumbled onto the Popcap’s facebook based Bejeweled Blitz.

Trouble is that my computer is so slow that it locks up running Flash games. Bummer. 

And then the good people of Popcap had to go and release a version for the ipod touch/iphone. You naughty folks. Way to enable my geek shopping addiction. 

Get it, I dare you.

I remember being a kid and running to snag the cartoon pages out of the Sunday paper. It was the only part worth reading in my young, but esteemed opinion. 

The good folks at io9 found this awesomely funny site where Lost has been turned into a strip of its own. Fun stuff to be had.
